Update on the Hezlan trial.

Jury deliberations are underway in the politically-charged Guard Hezlan murder trial.

Crowds in Qeynos have been steadily gathering on the courthouse steps, calling for the acquittal of Guard Hezlan.

"We know our brave guards are just trying to keep us safe from the filthy riff-raff from the Northland. If one of those unwashed barbarians got a little upset over being told to stop blocking our gate, I don't blame the guards for dealing with him," said a local merchant, Tubal Weaver.

"Those barbarians are so smelly. I'm just glad all that blood got cleaned up before everyone tracked it into the city. And just think of all the large rats that corpse attracted," added Qeynos resident Dren Ironforge.

Larger, more vocal crowds gathered in Halas and Everfrost, chanting anti-human slogans and demanding the conviction of Hezlan. Organizers pledged that they will see that, "justice is done, one way or another."

Vyvyd Trancewalker, a lieutenant in the Bears of Oboo, told reporters, "There ainno party like an Oboo party. We gonna party in Qeynos tomorrow." She refused to explain her statement or offer further comment before rejoining the angry, drunken mob in their chants of, "We want the funk. Gotta have that funk. Awwwwwww.... We want the funk. Gotta have that funk."

Tensions are clearly running high heading into tomorrow's expected verdict and demonstration in Qeynos Hills.
